Cosmetic creams elaborated from bee products

Abstract
Due to the variety of brands and presentations of cosmetic creams that are sold in the market, since the Cuban population is preferring cosmetics elaborated based on natural products and keeping in mind that the bee products are a rich source of vitamins, minerals, proteins, antibacterial and antioxidants, we decided to reformulate four cosmetic creams that were marketed almost two decades ago, in order to introduce them in the national market again.
The present work had as an objective to carry out changes in the formulations of four cosmetic creams (anti-wrinkles, at night, cleaner and regenerating) all of them elaborated with primary bee products. We carried out a study to determine quick expiration for proposing their useful life. The study demonstrates the stability of these products from the physical-chemical, microbiological and sensorial points of view, where the analyzed parameters are kept stable in time. The toxicological test of dermic irritability declares them as “not irritating”. We propose a useful life of one year for the four creams.
