Comportamiento del rendimiento en calabaza utilizando a la abeja (Apis mellifera) como insecto polinizador

Abstract
En áreas de la Empresa de Cultivos Varios “19 de Abril” ubicada en el municipio de Quivicán, al sur de la provincia de La Habana, se desarrolló un experimento durante la campaña de primavera de 1992, con el objetivo de evaluar la productividad del cultivo de la calabaza, utilizando a la abeja (Apis mellifera) como insecto polinizador. Se determinó que a mayor distancia entre el cultivo y las colmenas el rendimiento disminuye. La mayor actividad de la abeja ocurrió alrededor de las 10:00 am.
